Shades Of Light

Shades of Light was created using Wotja, a generative music system descended from SSEYO Koan, the software Brian Eno used for his 1996 release Generative Music 1. My role shifted from composer toward curator: exploring what emerged, selecting the pieces I wanted to preserve, then mixing and mastering them into the finished album. The ten tracks move loosely through changing light, weather and darkness, from Dawn's Early Light to Knowing.
